DISSEMINATION ACTIVITIES AT SCHOOL: TRANSMIT MEETS MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

Friday January 29 was the final day of the English/Maths CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) project “TRANSMIT: the road to meet MITOS” organised at the middle school of Istituto Omnicomprensivo Città Sant’Angelo (PE, Italy) as part of the dissemination activities planned within the framework of TRANSMIT. The project, consisting of seven afternoon lessons held in English by the teachers of both English and Mathematics, concluded with an online meeting with two of the project’s ESRs: Houda Abla (University of Bologna, Italy) and Floriana Di Paola (Justus-Liebig-University of Giessen, Germany).

A special thanks to the thirteen young pupils who attended the course and created a summary video of this educational path to thank the researchers for their work in the fight against cancer. The course was made possible thanks to the great support and enthusiasm of the school teachers involved, namely prof. Barcaroli, Laurenzio, Mandruzzato, Mazzocchetti, Olivieri, Paterlini, Raiti and Vanni.
